Forget your Golden Globes, BAFTAs or Oscars. It’s all about the Moneyfacts Awards here at Zopa and today has started on a rather celebratory note after we won two awards at the Consumer Moneyfacts Awards 2015 last night!
We were delighted to be named for the second year running, proud winners for Personal Loan Provider of the Year and even more amazingly Best Customer Service.
As the only peer-to-peer lender in the shortlist, this is a fantastic achievement for Zopa and highlights that we are offering borrowers a better deal. This award is very special to us as Moneyfacts combine feedback from customer surveys from over 70,000 along with the specialists to help pick the winners, meaning that winning is only possible if our customers support and believe in our services. We beat some very tough competition in the loans category from the likes of Barclays, HSBC, first direct, Sainsbury’s, Tesco Bank and M&S Bank to name just a few.
What makes us even more proud of what we do is that we won the big award of the evening, for Best Customer Service. For the second year running, Zopa was named to have the best customer service across the whole personal finance industry, again beating off the likes of first direct who is also well known for their level of service.
This is based entirely on consumer feedback across all categories such as savings, mortgages, and insurance providers. The Best Customer Service Award went to the financial provider whose customer service was simply rated as the best by over 70,000 consumers who voted.
Needless to say, everyone at Zopa Towers is very pleased with the results. Zopa CEO, Giles Andrews had this to say, “Being named Personal Loan Provider of the Year by Moneyfacts is a great way to start 2015.
