The 2017 awards season has started off with a bang with Zopa winning the Personal Loan Provider of the year award for the fourth consecutive year at the Consumer Moneyfacts Awards!
On the night
Suited and booted and best frocks donned, 10 Zopians headed to the Lancaster London Hotel to attend the Consumer Moneyfacts Awards on 25th January.
Beating off competition from Hitachi Personal Finance and Sainbury’s Bank, this is the fourth year in a row Zopa has taken home the award.
We were also highly commended in the Peer-to-Peer Provider of the Year category, and commended for the overall Best Customer Service award.
How Consumer Moneyfacts Awards winners are picked
There is a two-stage process to decide who the award winners are. Firstly, a team of experts uses a strict set of criteria to decide which companies offer the best products. This analysis accounts for 50% of the overall score and forms who should be shortlisted. Consumers then have their chance to vote for the other 50% of the score through the Moneyfacts surveys.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for us in the consumer survey. It means a lot to us that consumers have a say and play a big role in deciding who wins. This award is another validation of the value and excellent service that we offer our customers and to receive this endorsement from the people we care most about is fantastic.
