More Zopa chat
Well, more links to the discussion forum anyway.
You might not have noticed, but the footer at the bottom of every page (with the really annoying exception of this one…), the main help page and the ‘Zopa bites’ news ticker on the home page now all contain to the discussion boards.

Yes, I know it looks a bit different from the rest of the site - bear with it, we’re looking at making it all ship shape and Zopa fashion but we want to see how popular it is first….initial signs are promising

You say that Zopa “name does not inadvertently translate to ‘ruin’ or ‘damnation’ in any of the world’s 5,000 languages”. Have to disappoint you. In one of the biggest of the world’s languages, namely Russian, your name translates into something much worse. ZOPA - to be exact, ZHOPA, but for a native speaker it makes almost no difference - means ASSHOLE. And “to get in zhopa” means “being absolutely screwed up”, “desperately finished”.
Accept my condolescences, guys. You won’t get a single Russian customer because no one would go to search for money in asshole, let alone pluck there his own money. Guys, you’re in Zopa.
