Chewing the fat, shooting the breeze, having a natter - call it what you like, talking to people is darn important and everyone should do it as often as they can (except in libraries). We talk to our members as much as possible, through our blog and discussion board and by getting people to email contactus@zopa.com if anything's on their mind.

Skyping Zopa

We’d love to be the next Skype (Well, wouldn’t you?), but in the mean time we’ve finally got ourselves Skyped up - and much hilarity in the office ensued as some of the less technically literate of the team struggled with such advanced concepts as headphones. (Hello Giles!)

Anyway - we did it to cut down our communications costs between the UK and US offices, but if anyone fancies a chat with me please feel free to:

I’ll 2nd. that - you must be mad (but very genuine in your belief in the Zopa principle!!!!)
Adds to the strength of the concept of ‘ZOPA’ tho - WELL DONE DAVE.

All well and good, Skypewise, but whet is your Skype name? A Skypename search on Zopa turns up 2 entries - 1 in New Zealand and 1 in Latvia. Niether is you, methinks…???

Didn’t we tell you about our Latvian operations?

If you click on the lovely ‘Call me’ logo, you’ll be connected (Eek!), but my Skype name is davenicholson if you want to do it the more (relatively) old fashioned way.

If lots of people want to use it, we’ll investigate having a Zopa Skype account (Anyone had any experience using Skype in a company?), but for now, I just wanted to keep it personal.
