Excellent coup for publicity. I bet lots of new lenders and borrowers have joined up in the last few hours after watching this :-) I plan to be just one of the new lenders …. I hope Zopa continues to prove as successful as ever.

This is great, im sure it will take off a storm. I think the banks have alot to answer for and have caused alot of resentment in recent years.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Nice piece. Much thought and creativity went into illustrating the concept.

Eagerly awaiting Zopa’s emergence in the USA.

Thanks – now Alexander sort of understands what Uncle Tricky does. Perhaps we can help with US division.

I`ve recently changed current accounts from one high st bank to one of the last surviving mutuals b.s`s.I`m tempted to join, and will ponder a while b4 leaping.Lending
seems to be my preferred option.
I`m too well aware of main stream banking practice, and don`t like `em.MUCH SUCCESS to your venture!!

A fantastic article.
When it came on the news I was proud to be part of it.
Zopa can only grow and be more successful as a result of positive media.

This looks like a great idea, especially in the current economic climate.

As I live in Japan I am looking forward to seeing your Japanese site go live.

You quote: “It cuts out the banks and middlemen.”

Well, and what exactly is ZOPA?! Not a middleman?

Very bright idea indeed. Just read about it 3 years after teh BBC presentation and Zopa has grown. I intend to join as lender, as only litle amount can make diference for me and others. Keep up the good work guys, founders and lenders alike.

This is a great idea, I am keen to hear more about it – I found out about Zopa by accident, but how are you getting the message out there?

A great idea and worth promoting to achieve greater numbers of both borrowers and lenders. Since I have a business website, what about Zopa advertising on it?
