We Won a Webby

Great news - Zopa has won a Webby, the internet equivalent of an Oscar!

Beating off competition from Bank of America, Chase Online and The Commonwealth Bank of Australia, we lifted the crown in the Banking/Bill Paying category (ironically enough).

Other winners included eBay, Flickr, The Onion, and The Wall Street Journal online - and fellow Brits Last.fm and Radio 1 online also joined us on the winners’ podium. A full list of the winners is available here.

Thanks and big congratulations must go to Poke, the very clever (not to mention very hirsute) design agency who created the Zopa site - top stuff guys!

The awards do is still to come, but we’re only allowed to do a 5 word acceptance speech. Any suggestions?
