Nice noises

The sound of jingling bells is in the air and all of a sudden I’m feeling really rather festive.
This got me thinking about those noises that just make you think of something nice.

For example, I was cycling over some wobbly paving stones last night and the noise they made as they shifted under my bike just took me back to my childhood and the cul-de-sac I used to cycle round. Fond memories (until I flew over my handlebars :-) )

Let us know your favourite noises too; here’s a couple more of mine to get you going:
- a purring cat - what more satisfied noise can there be?
- the sound of snow crunching underfoot - that just means fun stuff like sledging or a snowball fight is on the cards!

Whatever your nice noises are, hope you hear them soon!

The cork coming out of a bottle of bubbly, velcro, seagulls, the sound of someone saying ‘I’m going to the bar, what can I get you…?’and open fires crackling

The sound of Giles, very kindly, getting the first round in every Friday evening at 5.30!

The sound of rain hitting the window when you are all cozy and warm inside.

The glug glug of pouring a bottle of bubbly - or bottle of anything!

Do I hear the sound of ten skittles falling?

No it’s just the Friday night end of day clatter as people rush for the door and a weekend away from work. Have a good one
