The very latest edition of WIRED magazine is out and peer-to-peer lending is only on the front cover!
Turn to page 100 and you’ll find a great article featuring those nice chaps over at KIVA, some people who can help you rent your car out when you’re not using it and little old us. Cor! Big thanks go to sl75 who took the time to let those folks at WIRED know how it all works here. He’s pretty much everything you can be at Zopa; a lender, a borrower and a frequenter of our forum, so he was the perfect person to give them the low-down. Get your hands on a copy to see what he had to say.
The issue also mentions Sugru which is a cunning product I’ve been dying to get my mitts on. Unfortunately it was so popular when they first put it on sale that it sold out and we’re all having to wait patiently for mega-batch number two. Hmmph. My list of things to fix is growing: wobbly table, uncomfy shoe, new tennis raquet handle…
(P.S. We will post a link to the piece if WIRED ever put it on their website, but we don’t think they’d be too impressed if we reproduced it here).
