Zopa is named Moneyfacts Personal Loan Provider of the Year 2016

We’re pleased to announce that Zopa took home the Moneyfacts Personal Loan Provider of the Year gong at the 2016 Moneyfacts award ceremony.

This is the second year in a row we’ve taken home this prestigious accolade, which is awarded based on rigorous scrutiny of our loan product by a team of personal finance experts.

A team of sharply dressed Zopians was on hand to pick up the trophy, which was presented at a black tie do held at the Tower of London.

The competition was tough, with Sainsbury’s Bank and M&S Bank taking the runner up slots, so we were particularly thrilled that our loans were judged to be the best offering for customers.

This is the third time in 2016 that we have been named personal loan provider of the year, with our Moneyfacts trophy joining our MoneySuperMarket Supers award and our Consumer Moneyfacts award in the trophy cabinet.

Jaidev Janardana, Zopa’s CEO, said, “We are delighted that Zopa’s loan offering has been recognised as market-leading for the third time this year. Our goal is to provide loans that work for consumers and their finances, and this award is another validation of the better value and excellent service that we offer our customers.”

UK borrowers have now taken over £1.5 billion in personal loans from Zopa. Find out more about Zopa loans or take a browse through our awards cabinet.
